DEATH: No death/bur rec found. There are many gaps in Salcombe Regis BTs, and par regs begin 1702. See the will of William Clapp of Salcombe Regis, 6 Sep 1636, proved [incomplete date] 1636, inv 22 Oct 1636, transc in Oswyn Murray Collection, vol. 6, unpaginated (FHL #916897). Wills of this court were destroyed in 1942.
