Richard Shattswell and Elinor, dau of Daniel Cheney, deceased, were married at Newbury, 17 Dec 1696 (VITAL RECORDS OF NEWBURY, 2 vols. [Salem, MA, 1911] 2:99 [FHL #974.45/N1 V28v]).
