    MAR: No mar rec found. Robert's widow died at Plymouth, Mass., 22 Apr1650, as "Mother Feney aged fourscore years and upwards" (Nathaniel B. Shurtleff and David Pulsifer, eds, RECORDS OF THE COLONY OF NEW PLYMOUTH, 12 vols. [Boston, 1855-61], 8:10 [FHL #974.4 N2n]).

Katherine is identified as a dau of Robert Finney in the will of her grandmother, Ellen Finney of Lenton, 8 Aug 1606, proved 16 Jan 1606/7, P.C.Y., reg wills, 30:220 (FHL #099494). Katherine's age is estimated by the ages of her children. Her son William was old enough to own land on 2 Dec 1639. Her dau Anne married on 28 Jul 1637 (Nathaniel B. Shurtleff and David Pulsifer, eds, RECORDS OF THE COLONY OF NEW PLYMOUTH, 12 vols. [Boston, 1855-61], 1:63, 136 [FHL #974.4 N2n]).
    MAR: Gabriel Fallowell of Plymouth identified a wife Katherine in his will, 14 Oct 1667, proved 5 Mar 1667/8, Plymouth Colony Probate, 2:2:47 (FHL #567794). Katherine Fallowell of Plymouth identified her brother Robert Finney in her own will, below. Hence, Katherine Finney married Gabriel Fallowell.

    DEATH: No death rec found. Hannah is not mentioned in the will of her husband, Ephraim Morton of Plymouth, 3 Aug 1730, proved 10 Mar 1731, Plymouth Co. Probate, 6:141-42 (FHL #550512). Franklin C. Clark states that Hannah, widow of Ephraim Morton, married John Cooke of Kingston for her 2nd husband ("The Bristol Branch of the Finney Family," NEHGR, 60[1906]:67 [FHL #974 B2ne]). This identification is not fully proved but seems likely. Sarah Lockwood accused Christopher Beetle of being the father of her unborn child on 12 Oct 1686 (PROVINCE AND COURT RECORDS OF MAINE, 6 vols. [Portland, 1928-75], 3:242-43 [FHL #974.1 P2p]). It is probable that Christopher and Sarah married. Sarah may have been widowed by 1698. Although no death or probate rec has been found for Christopher Beetle, another Christopher Beetle, presumably his son, settled on Martha's Vineyard, not far from Barnstable, about 1724.
