She is also mentioned in the will of her grandfather Christopher Dabinott of Upway, Dorset, 1 Jul 1637, proved 4 Aug 1637, P.C.C., 113 Goare (FHL #092138). Mary received a land grant in Windsor, Conn. on her father's right with other children of Thomas Newberry, 10 Oct 1646 (Windsor Deeds, 1:7 [FHL #006188]). She also claimed land of her father in Suffolk Co., Mass., 23 Apr 1662 (Suffolk Co. Deeds, 3:525 [FHL #493932]).

    MAR: No mar rec found. The estate recs of Christopher Crow of Windsor suggest that Mary (Burr) Crow, Christopher's widow, married Josiah Clark. Initial adm was granted to Mary's brother Samuel Burr, 20 Apr 1681. On 6 Mar 1684, Josiah Clark was appointed to administer Christopher Crow's estate. At that time he was already in possession of 73 pounds of the Crow estate, which he apparently acquired by marriage to Crow's widow. Moreover, Josiah's younger brother, John Clark, married Christopher Crow's dau Mary about 1685. See estate recs of Christopher Crow of Windsor, Hartford District Probate, abstacted in Charles W. Josiah is mentioned in the will of his father, Daniel Clark of Windsor, 31 Aug 1709, proved 8 Sep 1710, Hartford District Probate, abstracted in Manwaring, DIGEST, 2:177-78.     MAR: No mar rec found. Daniel Clark's wife is identified as Hannah, dau of Daniel Pratt, in numerous publications. The will of Daniel Pratt of Hartford, 19 Apr 1690, proved 30 Apr 1691, mentions a dau Hannah but does not include her surname. See abstract from Hartford District Probate in Charles W. Manwaring, ed, DIGEST OF THE EARLY CONNECTICUT PROBATE RECORDS, 3 vols. (Hartford, 1904-1906), 1:499-500 (FHL #974.6 P2m). The will of Hannah's sister Esther Pratt of Hartford, 6 Oct 1702, proved 11 Nov 1702, mentions a sister Hannah Clarke (Ibid, 2:104). It is concluded, therefore, that Hannah, dau of Daniel Pratt, married a Clark. Daniel can be shown to have had a wife Hannah. On 11 Sep 1668 Daniel Clark, Sr, of Windsor made a deed of gift to his son Daniel Clark of Hartford. Daniel Clark, Jr, deeded the property to his brother-in-law Job Drake on 1 June 1689 with the consent of his wife Hannah (Windsor Deeds, 2:252, 253 [FHL #006189]).
    DEATH: No death rec found. Daniel is mentioned in father's will, 31 Aug 1709. According to Nathaniel Goodwin he went to Colchester, Connecticut about 1710, but no evidence has been found (Goodwin, GENEALOGICAL NOTES [Hartford, 1856], 25 [FHL #974 D2g]).
