    MAR #1: No mar rec found. Elizabeth made oath to the inv of the estate of her late husband, William Weeks of Dorchester, 1 Feb 1677/8, Suffolk Co. Probate, #936, (o.s.) 12:192-93 (FHL #584130). It is also clear that she is the mother of at least some, if not all, of the children of William Weeks, as she is referred to as "grandmother" of Ebenezer Maudsley on 15 Mar 1715, when he was granted adm on the remaining estate of William Weeks, 15 Mar 1715 (Ibid, [n.s.] 19:65 [FHL #594180]).

Deeds, 28:29 [FHL #493941]). Furthermore, the baptismal entry of son William White in 1685 indicates his mother is a dau of William Weeks (RECORDS OF THE FIRST CHURCH IN DORCHESTER IN NEW ENGLAND [Boston, 1891], 196 [FHL #856696]).

    Notes:

    CHR: RECORDS OF THE FIRST CHURCH AT DORCHESTER IN NEW ENGLAND (Boston, 1891), 198 (FHL #856696). This record calls the baptized child "Elizabeth," dau of Henry White. However, there are reasons to suspect this was an error for Patience. The division of estate of Henry White, 7 Apr 1729, lists the children in order of birth. Dau Patience Farrington was born between daughters Elizabeth Thorp and Submit Bullard (b. 1688). If the first Elizabeth (chr 1683) was deceased, and the 2nd Elizabeth (chr 1686) was a replacement, Patience must have been born between 1686 and 1688. Patience was near 60 yrs when she died in 1745/6, giving her a calculated birth year of 1686. Her sister Elizabeth was married to Samuel Thorp on 15 Feb 1699/1700. If she was the 2nd Elizabeth (chr 1686) she was only 13 when she married Thorp. Hence, it appears that the 1st Elizabeth in fact survived, and the 2nd Elizabeth is an error for Patience, whose baptism is not otherwise evident.
