- BIRTH: Sharon, Vermont Vital Records, 1:27 (FHL #028906). The entry indicates birth occurred "at Dudley in Connecticut." Dudley is actually in Mass. bordering Killingly, Conn. The birth is not recorded in vital recs of Dudley, Thompson, or Killingly. Betsey's death rec, below, also indicates she was born in Dudley, Mass. However, Aaron Foster was residing in Killingly on 6 Nov 1781 only one month before Betsey's birth, when he bought land in Sharon, Vermont (Sharon Deeds, 2:75 [FHL #028908]). Hence, Betsey was probably born in Killingly.
