- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. John is identified in the will of his father, Austin Killam of Wenham, 2 Jun 1667, proved 24 Sep 1667 (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA, 1916-20], 2:99-100 [FHL #974.45 P2p]). John deposed aged abt 52 yrs on 24 June 1679 (RECORDS AND FILES OF QUARTERLY COURTS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 9 vols. [Salem, MA, 1911-75], 7:207 [FHL #974.45 P2e]). The only known residence of his father in England was at Dennington, Suffolk where he had a son baptized in 1619/20, but John was not baptized there.
MAR: No mar rec found. The division of estate of John Pickworth, son of John Pickworth of Manchester, 26 Jun 1683, included the children of his deceased sister Hannah Killum (Essex Co. Probate [o.s.], 2:45 [FHL #860485]). The will of Ann Pickworth of Manchester, widow of John Pickworth, Sr, 10 May 1682, rejected 3 Apr 1683, makes a bequest to her grandchild Ann Killum, daughter of John Killum (RECORDS AND FILES, 9:79-80). Hence John Killum married Hannah, dau of John Pickworth.
DEATH: No death rec found. John was living as late as 3 Sep 1695 when he acknowledged a deed to Thomas Fisk dated 15 Nov 1661 (Essex Co. Deeds, 11:16 [FHL #866019]). No further record.
