- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Sarah is identified in the will of her father Thomas Low of Ipswich, 20 Apr 1677, proved 6 Nov 1677 (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA, 1916-20], 3:175-76 [FHL #974.45 P2p]). Date of birth is calculated from age 23 on Ipswich Quarterly Court rec, May 1660 (RECORDS AND FILES OF THE QUARTERLY COURTS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 9 vols. [Salem, MA, 1911-75], 2:200 [FHL #974.45 P2e]).
MAR: No mar rec found. The will of Sarah's father, above, mentions his dau Sarah and granddaughter Sarah Safford. This granddaughter is a proved dau of John Safford. Essex deeds clearly show that the wife of John Safford was Sarah (Essex Co. Deeds, 32:161 [FHL #866028]). Hence, Sarah Low, dau of Thomas Low, married John Safford.
DEATH: No death rec found. Sarah was living as late as 21 May 1712 when she acknowledged her deed to Michael Farley of 16 Jun 1708 (Essex Co. Deeds, 25:142 [FHL #866025]).
