- BIRTH: No birth rec found. See chr record, below, for identification of father. For birth date, see Evelyn M. Wood Lovejoy, HISTORY OF ROYALTON, VERMONT, 2 vols. (Burlington, VT, 1911), 2:709 (FHL #974.365/R1 H2l). Circumstantial evidence suggests that Betsey was born in Royalton. The family of Abijah Burbank is listed in the 1790 U.S. census of Royalton, Vermont, p. 45 (FHL #568152); also 1800 U.S. census of Royalton, p. 463 (FHL #218689). Also see the deed from Abijah Burbank to Abijah Burbank,Jr, 17 Sep 1795, which shows Betsey's father was then living in Royalton (Royalton Deeds, B:450 [FHL #028750]).
