DEATH: Byfield Congregational Church as published in VITAL RECORDS OF NEWBURY, 2:556. Age 50 yrs, "malignant fever." Byfield parish served both Newbury and Rowley, but it is clear from probate recs that Caleb was of Newbury. See the adm of estate of Caleb Burbank of Newbury, 26 May 1760, Essex Co. Probate, (o.s.) 337:197 (FHL #875025), inv sworn 26 May 1760 (Ibid, 337:202-203), acct 20 Apr 1761 (Ibid, 338:112), guardianship of minor son David, 20 Jul 1761 (Ibid, 338:269).
