- BIRTH: Joseph is identified in the will of his father, Henry Adams of Braintree, 1646, proved 8 Jun 1647, Suffolk Co. Probate, #52, (n.s.), 1:429 (FHL #594359). Date of birth is from "Streeter-Adams Records From A Streeter Family Bible," NEHGR, 85(1931):383 (FHL #974 B2ne). Kingweston par regs are lost for the period, and only a few BTs have survived. BTs are missing for 1624-28. It is very likely that Joseph was born in Kingweston, as he had brothers chr there in 1622 and 1629.
