DEATH: No death rec found. Death date is supplied by Andrew N. Adams, A GENEALOGICAL HISTORY OF HENRY ADAMS (Rutland, VT, 1898), 520 (FHL #381788). Adams states that "Obed" resided in West Barnstable. He presumably died there. He is called "Obed" on several town recs but "Obediah" on baptism entry. He appears in the town recs as late as 30 Oct 1809 when he was appointed agent of the 6th District of Barnstable (Barnstable Town Records, 4:188 [FHL #947062]).
