- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Date of birth is calculated from age 12 in Jan 1683, declared in the inv of estate of his father, Christopher Crow, late of Windsor, 13 Dec 1680. Christopher had left the Connecticut colony leaving children and debts. See abstract from Hartford District Probate in Charles W. Manwaring, ed, DIGEST OF THE EARLY CONNECTICUT PROBATE RECORDS, 3 vols. (Hartford, 1904-1906), 1:296 (FHL #974.5 P2m). At the time of Benoni's birth, the family was residing in Windsor. See Henry R.
