CHR: RECORDS OF THE FIRST CHURCH AT DORCHESTER IN NEW ENGLAND (Boston, 1891), 152 (FHL #974.461 K2r). Given name is obliterated on original rec, but it could be no other than Deliverance, who was born 3 days before.
MAR #1: "Windsor Births, Marriages, Deaths, 1637-1850," Barbour Collection (typescript, 1929; Conn. State Library, Hartford), 247 (FHL #002983). The entry states that the mar occurred at Dorchester, Mass. The wife is called Deliverance "Haynes" on mar entry. However, a manuscript genealogy of the Rockwell family, dated 1731, identifies her as "Haws." No Deliverance Haynes has been found, and Deliverance Hawes was the right age and lived in Dorchester where the mar occurred. See D. MAR #2: "Windsor Births, Marriages, Deaths," Barbour Collection, 246. Husband is called "Robard Warrennak" on mar entry. He is called "Robert Warner" on death rec of Deliverance, below. 1st husband, John Rockwell, died at Windsor 3 Sep 1673 ("Windsor Births, Marriages, Deaths," Barbour Collection, 247).
MAR #3: No mar rec found. Deliverance Bissell is called "formerly wife of Robert Warner" on death rec, below. Adm of estate of Deliverance Bissell of Middletown, 5 Aug 1718, was granted to her son Capt. Joseph Rockwell. The inv of estate, 6 Oct 1718, calls her "Widow of Nathaniel Bissell. "See abstracts from Hartford District Probate in Charles W. Manwaring, ed, DIGEST OF THE EARLY CONNECTICUT PROBATE RECORDS, 3 vols. (Hartford, 1904-1906), 2:358 (FHL #974.6 P2m). Second husband, Robert Warner, died at Middletown, 11 Apr 1690 ("Middletown Births, Marriages, Deaths, 1651-1854," Barbour Collection [typescript, 1923; Conn. State Library, Hartford], 476 [FHL #002974]).
