- BIRTH: Thomas is identified as a son of Robert Plumbe in the 1634 Herald's Visitation of Essex (Walter C. Metcalfe, ed, THE VISITATIONS OF ESSEX, Publications of the Harleian Society, Visitation Series, vol. 13 [London, 1878], 470-71 [FHL #942 B4h]). He is also identified in the will of his father, Robert Plumbe of Great Yeldham, 9 Jan 1611/2, proved 22 Jun 1613, P.C.C., 64 Capell (FHL #092053).
