- BIRTH: Margaret is identified as a dau of Robert Plumbe in the 1634 Herald's Visitation of Essex (Walter C. Metcalfe, ed, THE VISITATIONS OF ESSEX, Publications of the Harleian Society, Visitation Series, vol. 13 [London, 1878], 470 [FHL #942 B4h]). She is also identified in the will of her father, Robert Plumbe of Gt. Yeldham, 9 Jan 1611/2, proved 22 Jun 1613, P.C.C., 64 Capell (FHL #092053). Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR: No mar rec found. The will of her father, Robert Plumbe, above, mentions the children of his dau "Raye." As the husbands all of the other daus are identified in his will or in marriage recs of Great Yeldham, it is assumed that Margaret married Mr. Raye (given name unknown).
