MAR #2: Farmington Deeds (including vital recs), 5:13 (FHL #004217). Wife is called widow Martha "North" on mar rec. She was apparently the widow of Thomas North of Farmington who died, 2 Mar 1724/5 ("Farmington Births, Marriages, Deaths," Barbour Collection, 119). Thomas North of Farmington and Martha "Ryce" of Wallingford were married at Farmington, 1 Dec 1698 (Ibid). Wallingford vital records show the name was most frequently "Royce." She is apparently the Martha Royce who was born on 1 Jun 1679, dau of Isaac and Elizabeth ("Wallingford Births, Marriages, Deaths, 1670-1850," Barbour Collection [typescript, 1924; Conn. State Library, Hartford], 288 [FHL #002981]).
