BUR: "Western Half of the Cemetery at Longmeadow, Mass.," recorded by Mrs F. H. Benton, in "Cemetery Inscriptions, Church Records...," collected by the Daughters of Founders and Patriots of America (typescript, n.d.), 3:97 (FHL #165996). The epitaph incorrectly states she died on 24 May "1750," age 75, a probable misreading of this ancient stone, as town records show the same day in 1756. Longmeadow was part of Springfield until set off in 1783.
