NOTE: According to some published accounts, Benjamin married Ann Fitch on 6 Jan 1703 and died in 1726. See Elias Loomis, DESCENDANTS OF JOSEPH LOOMIS IN AMERICA, rev by Elisha S. Loomis (New Haven, CT, 1875; rev edition Fresno, CA, 1981), 132 (FHL #929.273 L873Le). However, it is unlikely that Benjamin died in 1726, as his estate was administered in 1734. No evidence of his marriage to Ann Fitch has been found. Benjamin's brothers Philip and William administered his estate. No wife or children are mentioned.
