- BIRTH: Springfield Vital Records, 1:9 (FHL #879184).
NOTE: It is possible that John is identical to the John Beamont, Sr. who died at Enfield, 27 Dec 1684. Another John Beamont of Enfield married Abigail Eggleston at Springfield on 29 Oct 1696. He died at Enfield, 1 Sep 1703. It seems likely that John, Sr, is the father of the other. However, if John Beamont, Sr, of Enfield is identical to the John Beamon born at Springfield in 1657, he must have been very young when he married, as he had a married son at the age of 39.
