- CHR: "A Transcript of the Parish Register Book 1 of Great Bromley" (transcript, 1903), unpaginated (FHL #571178 item 8). Parents names are not included in chr entry, but William is identified in the will of his father, William Church of Gt. Bromley, 1 Oct 1574, no probate act, Archdeaconry Court of Colchester, reg wills, 1566-76, Hore 421 (FHL #091235).
MAR #1: "A Transcript of the Parish Register Book 1 of Great Bromley," unpaginated. Name of the wife is not given in mar entry, but son-in-law William Church and dau Katherine Church are identified in the will of John Harris of Gt. Bromley, 4 June 1590, no probate act, Archdeaconry Court of Colchester, orig wills, box 2, #23 (FHL #091249). Hence, William married Katherine, dau of John Harris, his stepfather.
MAR #2: "A Transcript of the Parish Register Book 1 of Great Bromley," unpaginated. The wife is called Bridget "Munt." She was apparently the Bridget Baker who married Henry Munt at Gt. Bromley, 1 Mar 1583/4 (Ibid). Henry Munt made his will on 10 Mar 1598/9, no probate act, identifying his wife Bridget and five children. William Church was among the witnesses (Archdeaconry Court of Colchester, orig wills, 1601-1609, box 4, #107 (FHL #091252).

DEATH: No death/bur rec found. Pre-1725 Gt. Bromley burials are lost. See the will of William Church of Gt. Bromley, 10 Aug 1636, proved 1 Mar 1637/8, Archdeaconry Court of Colchester, box 12 (FHL #091263).
