- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Robert is identified in the will of his mother, widow Elizabeth Goodale of Dennington, 1 Mar 1601/2, proved 17 Mar 1601/2, Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills, 38:478-80 (FHL #096939). Elizabeth is apparently the widow of Arnold Goodale, who married Elizabeth Filby at Wilby in 1550 and was buried in Dennington, 15 Oct 1597. Date and place of Robert's birth are approximations.
