NOTE: Bond believed that Elizabeth was born at Boston, 9 May 1655 (Henry Bond, GENEALOGIES OF THE EARLY SETTLERS OF WATERTOWN, 2nd edition [Boston, 1860; repr Boston, 1978], 820 [FHL #974.44 D2b]). But the parents of this Elizabeth are almost certainly the John Lawrence and Elizabeth Adkinson who were married at Boston, 8 Feb 1653/4 (BOSTON BIRTHS, BAPTISMS, MARRIAGES, AND DEATHS, 1630-1699, 9th Report Boston Record Commissioners [Boston, 1883; repr Boston 1994], 44, 51 [FHL #974.461 V2a]).
