MAR: No mar rec found. Anthony's wife Frances sued him in York Co. Maine Court, 11 Oct 1660 for selling land without her consent (PROVINCE AND COURT RECORDS OF MAINE, 6 vols. [Portland, ME, 1928-75], 2:366 [FHL #974.1 N2m]). Perhaps the couple was now divorced. She may be a 2nd wife.
DEATH: No death rec found. Anthony was living in Portsmouth, RI as late as 9 Mar 1680/1 when he deeded his house and lands to dau Rebecca Sadler (Portsmouth Land Evidences, 1:178 [FHL #945375]). Anthony probably died soon afterward. He is called "late of Portsmouth, deceased," in a deed from James Emery to Rebecca Eaton alias Sadler, 10 May 1700 (Ibid, 1:96).
