MAR #2: VITAL RECORDS OF ROWLEY, 2 vols. (Salem, MA, 1928-31), 1:287 (FHL #974.45/R1 V28v). Husband was "of Ipswich." Wife is called Martha "Lighton." She is apparently the Martha Cheney who married John Lighton at Rowley, 4 Jun 1691 (Ibid, 341). He died there, 15 Nov 1698 (Ibid, 490).
DEATH: No death rec found. John appears to have been living on 15 Oct 1721 when his wife Martha died as "wife" (not widow) of John Rogers, sadler (VITAL RECORDS OF IPSWICH, 2:662).
