- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Elizabeth is identified as a dau of Robert Rogers, age 6 yrs "last Feb," in his estate papers, 27 Sep 1664 (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA, 1916-20], 1:433-34 [FHL #974.45 P2p]). However, citing original Essex Co. Probate File #24055, Elizabeth's age is given as "16" yrs in Janet Ireland Delorey, "Robert Rogers, 'Cheddar Man,' of Newbury, Mass," NEHGR, 140(1986):207 (FHL #974 B2ne). In light of Elizabeth's mar in 1667, Delorey's interpretation in no doubt correct.
