| Clifford: Edwin Clifford Family Reunion This picture was taken at the 1940 Clifford family reunion at the Pines, located in Brattleboro Vermont(just a little ways over the Vermont line from Massachusetts) - 23 years after the November 1913 photograph taken by George Edward Anderson of Edwin and Alice and their nine children. Since the 1913 picture Edwin and Alice had 11 children. At the time of the 1940 picture only 9 survived.

| Cook: Marrette Cook This picture has been in my family for decades. Over time the identity became confused. Only recently was it discovered that this is, indeed, a picture of Marrette Cook. Her name is written on the frame and her husbands name is written on the picture. We might assume that he had it painted around the time of their wedding. Hence, it was probably painted around 1876. The frame is probably original. It now hangs in Stephen Hansen's dining room.
