BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. George is identified in the will of his father, George Parmenter of Little Yeldham, 8 May 1591, proved 12 Feb 1591/2, Commissary Court of the Bishop of London (Essex & Herts Div), orig wills, box 29 (FHL #094383). Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR #1: No mar rec found. Amy, wife of George Parmenter, was buried at Little Yeldham, 13 Oct 1594 (Little Yeldham par reg [FHL #857064 item 5]).
MAR #2: "Great Yeldham Parish Register" (transcript, n.d.), unpaginated (FHL #571178 item 5). The wife is called Elizabeth Purcas. The will of George Parmenter, below, identifies his wife's children, Francis Purcas and Rose Purcas. She was apparently the widow of William Purcas of Sible Hedingham, whose will, 25 Mar 1595, proved 6 May 1595, mentions a wife Elizabeth and children Francis and Rose among others (Commissary Court of the Bishop of London [Essex & Herts Div], orig wills, box 29 [FHL #094383]). William Purcas and Elizabeth Mott were married at Great Yeldham, 7 Feb 1574.
