Notes:

BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Mary's husband, John Woods, is called "son-in-law" in the will of John Parmenter of Roxbury, 25 Mar 1671 (29 Mar at end of will), rejected 25 Jul 1671 (two executors not appearing), Suffolk Co. Probate, misc docket, (o.s.) 7:135, 146-47 (FHL #584128). Mary is also identified in the will of her grandfather, William Parmenter of Little Yeldham, Essex, 12 Oct 1613-19 Jan 1617/8, Commissary Court of the Bishop of London (Essex & Herts Div), orig wills, box 30 (FHL #094386). Mary's year of birth is calculated from age 80 on death rec, below. This age is probably rounded off. Mary's brother John was born about the same year, according to his deposition in 1665. Mary's birth year has accordingly been adjusted to abt 1612. She was probably born in the vicinity of Little Yeldham, the Parmenter home parish, although her baptism is not recorded there.
