George was living at Salem as late as 29 Jun 1641 when he was charged with trespass by Joseph Robinson and William Browne (RECORDS AND FILES OF THE QUARTERLY COURTS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 9 vols. [Salem, MA, 1911-75], 1:30-31 [FHL #974.45 P2e]). He was almost certainly dead by 27 Dec 1642 when Margery Wathen charged Thomas Tuck with trespass (Ibid, 1:45). Had George been living it is almost certain that he would have been the plaintiff. Margery was called "widow" on 27 Aug 1644 when the inv of her estate was presented (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA, 1916-20], 1:38-39 [FHL #974.45 P2p]).
