The entry does not identify parents names. However, Anthony is called brother in the will of Cornelius Fisher of East Bergholt, Suffolk, 23 May 1638, proved 9 Dec 1641, P.C.C., Evelyn, 154 (FHL #092151), and in the will of John Fisher of Syleham, 28 Mar 1636, proved 30 Oct 1636, Consistory Court of Norwich, reg wills, 129:277 (FHL #166873). John and Cornelius are proved sons of Anthony Fisher of Syleham.
MAR #1: No mar rec found. Anthony Fisher had children baptized at Syleham, Suffolk and Denton, Norfolk, 1616-1629. No wife's name is mantioned in Syleham par reg, but Anthony's wife is called "Ales" on baptismal entries at Denton in 1626 and 1629 (Denton par reg [FHL #1657227 item 29]). She is called "Ellice" Fisher on death rec at Dedham, Mass.
MAR #2: DORCHESTER BIRTHS, MARRIAGES AND DEATHS, 21st Report Boston Record Commissioners (Boston, 1890), 21 (FHL #974.46/D1 V2r). The wife is not named but called "the widow of Edward Breck." A wife Isabel is mentioned in the will of Edward Breck of Dorchester, 30 Oct 1662, proved 11 Dec 1662, Suffolk Co. Probate, #322, (o.s.) 1:399-401 (FHL #584127). Isabel's maiden surname is unknown.

Assuming it was old style, the date was incorrectly advanced to 1664 in Robert Brand Hanson, ed, VITAL RECORDS OF DEDHAM, 3 vols. (Bowie, MD, 1989), 2:81 (FHL #974.47/D2 V2hr). The later date conflicts with the 2nd mar of Anthony Fisher.

BIRTH: Mary is identified as a minor dau in the will of her father, Nicholas Fiske of Dennington, 20 Aug 1569, proved 23 Sep 1569, Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills, 23:71 (FHL #096924). She is also mentioned in Joseph L. Chester, ed, "Candler's Suffolk & Essex Pedigrees," ca 1655, 2 vols. (transcript, 1868-70; Norman Collection, Salford, Eng), 1:380 (FHL #Q942.6 D2c). Candler was a Puritan minister living in England and himself a Richard Fiske descendant. Date and place of birth are approximations based on date of marriage and position in father's will.

MAR: Nicholas identified his wife as Johan, daughter of William Crispe, in his own will, below. The will of William Crispe of Laxfield, 1 Dec 1552, proved 19 Jan 1552/3, shows that Johan was the wife of Nicholas Fiske as early as 1552 (Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills, 16:409 [FHL #096916]).
