Daniel's will, below makes "son-in-law" [stepson] Roger Wolcott his executor. Roger Wolcott was born at Windsor, 28 Jan 1678, son of Simon Wolcott and Martha Pitkin, who were married at Windsor, 17 Oct 1661 ("Windsor Births, Marriages, Deaths," Barbour Collection, 299). Martha was called "late of England" on rec of mar to Wolcott.

Mary received a land grant in Windsor, Conn. on her father's right with other children of Thomas Newberry, 10 Oct 1646 (Windsor Deeds, 1:7 [FHL #006188]). The will of Christopher Dabinott, above, bequeathed to each of his grandchildren but fails to mention Thomas Newberry's youngest children, Hannah and Rebecca, suggesting they were not the children of Christopher's dau Joane.

Date and place of birth are approximations based on family history and chronology. Joane's father owned estates in Marshwood, and she lived there with her husband Thomas Newberry.

DEATH: No death/bur rec found. Joane is the mother of John Newberry, who was baptized on 19 Feb 1628/9 and named in the will of his grandfather Christopher Dabinott, above. She is not the mother of Rebecca, dau of Thomas Newberry, who was born about 1631. She probably died soon after the birth of John at the family home in Marshwood.
