    MAR #2: Springfield Vital Record, 1:17. Wife is called Deliverance "Hanchet" in mar rec. She is identified as a widow in "Judge Pynchon's Marriage Record, 1685-1711," NEHGR, 123(1969):261 (FHL #974 B2ne). Deliverance was no doubt the widow of Thomas Hanchet who died at Suffield, 11 Jun 1686 (Pynchon, "Hampshire Records," Suffield, 132). Widow Deliverance Hanchet exhibited the inv of his estate, 16 Nov 1686 (Hampshire Co. Probate, 2:42-43 [FHL #879184]). Thomas Hanchet is called "son" in the will of George Lancton of Northampton, 28 Nov 1676, proved 10 Jan 1676/7 (Ibid, 1:185). Hence, Deliverance, dau of George Lancton, married (1) Thomas Hanchet of Suffield, (2) Jonathan Burt of Springfield.
