CHR: Molash par reg (FHL #1866548 item 1). Gregory is identified as a minor son in the will of his father, Richard Videon of Molash, 31 May 1591, proved 28 Mar 1593, Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury, reg wills, 50:96 (FHL #188948).
MAR: Molash par reg (FHL #1866548 item 1). Also see mar lic, 15 Dec 1602, abstracted in Joseph Meadows Cowper, ed, CANTERBURY MARRIAGE LICENCES, 6 vols. (Canterbury 1892-1906), 1:430 (FHL #942.23 V25c). Gregory is called a yeoman of Molash. The wife was from Godmersham.

BIRTH: Joane is identified in the will of her father, Nicholas German, of Wye, 10 Apr 1550, proved 15 Jul, 4 Edw IV [1550], Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury, reg wills, 27:193 (FHL #188933). Date and place of birth are approximations. Her father's will indicates she was not yet 20 years old in 1550. She is not recorded in Wye baptisms, which commence in 1538. Hence, it appears that Joane was born between 1530 and 1538.
