BIRTH: Sarah is identified in the agreement of heirs of William Chamberlin of Hull, deceased, 29 Apr 1679 (SUFFOLK DEEDS, 14 vols. [Boston, 1880-1906], 12:35-36 [FHL #974.46 R2s]). Birth year is calculated from age 40 on death rec, below.
MAR #1 & 2: No mar rec found. Sarah's marriage to Peter Brock about 1696 and her 2nd marriage to Henry Beere about 1709 are complex circumstantial cases. BUR: "James Arnold's Tombstone Records Collection," 32 vols. (unpublished ms, n.d.; Knight Memorial Library, Providence), Town of Newport, 18:[2] (FHL #1838895 item 9). The Newport entries appear to have been cut out of a published text and pasted into the collection. The inscription is also found in RIGR, 11:311 (FHL #974.5 D2ri).
