BIRTH: No birth rec found. Elizabeth is identified in the will of her father, Pasco Foote of Salem, 21 Sep 1670, proved 30 Jun 1671 (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA: 1916-20], 2:229-30 [FHL #974.45 P2p]). She is also identified as a dau of Pasco in her chr rec, below. Date and place of birth are approximations
CHR: VITAL RECORDS OF SALEM, 6 vols. (Salem, MA, 1916-25), 1:312 (FHL #974.45/S1 V2e).
MAR: No mar rec found. She is called Elizabeth "Birtch" in her father's will, above. She was apparently the wife of George Burch who had children by wife Elizabeth born at Salem, 1659-1671 (VITAL RECORDS OF SALEM, 1:138).

BIRTH: Date and place of birth are approximations. Pasco may have come from Bedfordshire. One of two mar entries for Pasco's son Isaac, calls him a son of Caleb Foote "of Bedfordshire, Eng." While Caleb is an obvious error, there may be truth to the Bedfordshire origin. See VITAL RECORDS OF SALEM, 6 vols. (Salem, MA, 1916-25), 3:373 (FHL #974.45/S1 V2e).
