MAR: No mar rec found. William Brown called Benjamin Brown "son-in-law" in a deed, 18 Oct 1699 (Essex Co. Deeds, 49:149 [FHL #866036]). Benjamin Brown and wife Sarah of Hampton, NH are among the heirs of William Brown who deeded their interest in the estate of William Brown, "our honoured father," to Thomas Hoyt, 10 Mar 1706/7 (Ibid, 22:82 [FHL #866024]). Clearly, Benjamin Brown married Sarah, dau of William Brown. Children are recorded for them at Hampton, 1680-1701 (George F. Sanborn, Jr, and Melinde Lutz Sanborn, eds, VITAL RECORDS OF HAMPTON, 2 vols. [Boston, 1992-98], 1:9, 16, 18, 25, 82, 86 [FHL #974.26/H3 V2s]).
DEATH: No death rec found. Sarah was living on 20 Nov 1701 when her last child was recorded at Hampton (Sanborn, VITAL RECORDS OF HAMPTON, 1:25).
